Description

A rich source of vitamins A, D, E and lecithin provides strength, volume and elasticity. Hydrolyzed wheat protein is used in many cultures and industries due to its benefit for the skin. Wheat protein provides the skin with amino acids and a high level of glutamine, effectively preserving and improving skin moisture. It is most commonly used in hair care products as a conditioning agent, but is also found in skin care products, where it likely has a moisturizing effect. There are limited studies that show that wheat amino acids may penetrate the hair shaft.
