Behentrimonium Chloride

Description

Bentrimonium chloride is a quaternary ammonium compound used as a preservative, antistatic, antifreeze, emulsifier and conditioner for hair. It detangles, fights static, softens and helps to strengthen the hair. As it is plant-based, it does not coat but penetrates the hair shaft for powerful conditioning effects. In some applications it also acts as a preservative.
