Description
Betaine Salicylate is a gentle form of salicylic acid (BHA) combined with betaine, a moisturizing amino acid. In cosmetics, it is used for exfoliation, pore cleansing, fighting acne, reducing inflammation and regulating sebum, but much more gently than regular salicylic acid. It is suitable even for sensitive skin, as it does not dry out or cause irritation. It is used in serums, toners, peels, blackhead and inflammation treatments.
