Description

Butyloctyl Salicylate is a gentle emollient and carrier of UV filters, which is often used in sun protection cosmetics. It improves the solubility of chemical filters, increases photostability and even distribution of SPF protection. In addition, it adds a silky, non-greasy texture to the product, reduces irritation from sun protection ingredients and helps soften the skin. It is often found in sunscreens, serums, SPF foundations, and moisturizing emulsions.
