Description
C12-14 Pareth-12 is a non-ionic surfactant (PAR) and emulsifier derived from fatty alcohols (chain length C12-C14), ethoxylated with 12 molecules of ethylene oxide. In cosmetics, it is used for skin cleansing, emulsifying oils and water, dissolving fat-soluble ingredients, and reducing surface tension, which improves the spread of the product on the skin or hair. It is often found in facial cleansers, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, and sunscreens.
