Description
C12-20 Alkyl Glucoside is a gentle non-combined surfactant component (PAR) that is created by combining fatty alcohols (chains from C12 to C20) with glucose (sugar). Its main purpose is to provide emulsification and stabilization of formulas, especially in natural cosmetics. This ingredient is excellent at thickening, softening the action of other PARs, and reducing skin irritation, which is why it is often added to baby cosmetics, shampoos, facial cleansers, and creams as an emulsion stabilizer.
