Description

Kumarin is an aromatic substance that is found in relatively high concentrations in certain varieties of cinnamon known generally as "Cassia cinnamon". Kumarin is a crystalline white solid with a sweet, vanilla, nutty aroma. When highly diluted, the smell resembles freshly mown hay.
