Description
Cyclodextrin is a natural oligosaccharide (carbohydrate) obtained from starch through enzymatic processing. It has a unique structure: its molecule forms a ring with a hydrophilic outer surface and a hydrophobic inner cavity. Thanks to this structure, Cyclodextrin is able to "capture" active substances inside, improving their stability, controlled release, and penetration into the skin. In cosmetics, it is used as a carrier for active ingredients (such as vitamins, fragrances, antioxidants) to work gently, without irritation, and to maintain their effectiveness for a longer period of time while gradually releasing them.
