Decyl Glucoside

Description

Decylglucoside is a non-ionic surfactant, which is used as a mild cleansing and foaming agent. Its excellent foaming capacity and good dermatological compatibility make it suitable for use as a base surfactant or auxiliary surfactant in cleansing products for sensitive skin. As a non-ionic surfactant (neutral/uncharged), it is less irritating to the skin than other surfactants and thus suitable for sensitive skin. It also helps to soften the skin and prevent inflammation and itching. In the personal care industry, decylglucoside is used as a surfactant to reduce the surface tension of the preparation, remove dirt and oil, and stabilize the water and oil phases of the product.
