Description
Degreased acetic acid is a white powder without taste or smell. It destroys microorganisms and prevents their growth and reproduction, protecting cosmetic products and personal hygiene products from spoilage. Due to its low solubility in water, it is often introduced as a sodium salt. According to EU legislation 1223/2009 and TR TS 009/2011, the maximum permissible concentration of acid and its salts is 0.6% in terms of free acid. It is prohibited for use in aerosols. Registered as a food additive E265.
