Description

Diatomaceous Earth is a natural mineral composed of the remains of microscopic algae (diatoms), rich in silica. In cosmetics, it is used as a gentle exfoliant, absorbent, and thickener. Thanks to its texture, diatomite effectively cleanses the skin from dead cells, sebum, and impurities without damaging it. It also helps control oily shine, mattifies, and improves the texture of the skin. It is often found in scrubs, masks, pastes, powders, and mattifying products.
