Description
Dinatrium EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) is a water-soluble acid which is a strong emulsion stabilizer with chelating properties. It functions by binding to metal ions in solution, making them inactive. In skin care it helps to prevent deterioration of cosmetic compositions. Dinatrium EDTA protects the integrity of skin care products from unwanted changes in consistency, pH, odor or texture. In addition, when binding with calcium, iron or magnesium, dinatrium EDTA leads to increased foam formation and clarifying abilities.
