Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate

Description

Dinatrium Laureth Sulfosuccinate (or Dinatrium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate) is a cleansing agent, also known as a surfactant, but it is not considered a sulfate. Surfactants work by reducing the surface tension of water, which makes it easier to remove dirt from skin and hair. It is a common chemical found in many "greener" or more natural formulations used to replace harsher sulfates due to its mild yet effective properties. Properties: • Cleansing of skin; • Creates a nice foam; • Excellent grease removal; • Reduces the likelihood of skin irritation; • Helps problem skin. It is known to be very mild to skin and hair even at higher concentrations. It reduces histamine production, thus significantly reducing the risk of allergic reactions. Dinatrium also reduces the irritating effects of other surfactants.
