Description
Ethyl Oleate is a complex ether of ethanol and oleic acid (an unsaturated fatty acid) that is used in cosmetics as a light emollient. It softens the skin, improves product distribution, and provides a silky feeling without leaving a greasy film. It can also act as a solvent for active ingredients and helps them penetrate the skin better. Due to its biocompatibility, Ethyl Oleate is often used in products for sensitive skin, serums, creams, sunscreens, and skincare oils.
