Glycereth-2 Cocoate

Description

Cocoat Gliceret-2 is a complex ester of coconut acid and polyethyleneglycol ester of glycerin containing, on average, 2 ethoxyls. It is designed for very soft skin products. It is a great emulsifying, thickening and solubilizing agent. It enhances foam formation, improves foam characteristics and product stability at low temperatures. It significantly reduces the irritating effect of anionic surfactants, including sodium lauryl sulfate.
