Description
Lactic acid is a polyhydroxy acid (PHA) used in cosmetic products due to its beneficial properties for the skin: 1. Exfoliation: helps to remove the layer of dead cells from the surface of the skin. This helps to improve the texture of the skin, reduce the appearance of blemishes and fine lines, and make the skin look more radiant. 2. Moisture retention: has the ability to retain moisture in the skin, helping to moisturize it and reduce moisture loss. 3. Antioxidant action: helps to protect the skin from the effects of free radicals and reduce stress damage. 4. Soothing and reducing inflammation. 5. Reducing the appearance of pigmented spots. 6. Reducing the appearance of enlarged pores.
