Description
Oleyl alcohol, obtained from olive oil, lard or fish, has the function of acting as an emulsifier, helping to bind oil and water components of lotion or cream and preventing their separation. They can thicken the formula, making it creamy, thick, juicy and saturated. Due to the content of fatty acids, they also act as softening agents, promoting hydration and forming a protective barrier after product application.
