Description
Avocado oil is rich in vitamins and can quickly penetrate the lower layers of the skin, promoting healing, skin regeneration, and protection against UV and aging pollution. When applied topically, avocado oil smooths wrinkles, helps tighten the skin, and reduces spots. It is also gentle enough to be used on dry, aging, rough, or sensitive skin. Avocado oil not only replenishes, smooths, and softens the skin, it is also capable of noticeably calming the skin and is a good source of natural antioxidants such as vitamins A, C, D, and E. On problem skin, avocado oil increases the content of hydroxyproline, an amino acid that plays a key role in strengthening the firm feel alongside skin barrier reinforcement. Avocado seed oil is a good source of a group of antioxidants known as polyphenols, which include catechin, epicatechin, and 3-leukoanthocyanidins. They provide a synergistic effect on neutralizing many types of free radicals.
