Description
Phosphatidylcholine is a phospholipid, the main component of cell membranes, which in cosmetics performs moisturizing, emulsifying and delivery functions. It has high biocompatibility with the skin and is often used as a carrier for active ingredients, helping them penetrate deeper into the skin. It also restores the lipid barrier, improves skin texture, softens it and reduces irritation. It is found in serums, anti-aging creams, liposomal formulas and products for sensitive skin.
