Description
Polyglyceryl-10 Myristate is a non-ionic emulsifier obtained by combining glycerin (polyglycerol-10) and myristic acid (a fatty acid found, for example, in coconut oil). It is used in cosmetics to create stable emulsions (mixtures of oil and water) in creams, lotions, serums, micellar water, and baby cosmetics. This component is lightweight, gentle, and hypoallergenic, making it ideal for sensitive skin. It provides a pleasant application, does not leave a greasy film, dissolves fats well, and helps in cleansing products. It is often used in natural and organic cosmetics because of its plant origin.
