Polyglyceryl-3 Stearate

Description

Polyglyceryl-3 stearate is a complex ester of stearic acid, fatty acid and polyglycerol-3, which is a polymer of glycerol containing three chains. This synthetic ingredient is used in cosmetics to add a softening effect that conditions the skin, as an emulsifier to keep mixed ingredients (e.g. oils and water) together, and in large quantities as a surfactant.
