Description
Polyglyceryl-6 Behenate is a soft emulsifier and emollient used in cosmetic products to stabilize emulsions and improve texture. It is obtained through the esterification of behenic acid (a saturated fatty acid of plant origin) with polyglycerin-6. This structure makes it safe, biocompatible, and well-tolerated even by sensitive skin. In cosmetics, Polyglyceryl-6 Behenate is added as an emulsion stabilizer (especially in natural cosmetics), it improves the application of the product, creates a pleasant velvety feeling on the skin, reduces the greasiness of the formula, and retains moisture in the skin. It is often used in creams, serums, sunscreens, and BB creams.
