Description
Pyridoxine is a hydrocchloride salt of vitamin B6. When naturally applied in the body, pyridoxine helps to balance sodium and potassium levels, as well as aiding in the production of red blood cells. It is also considered a prophylactic against lupus, eczema and psoriasis. It is also believed to possess antibacterial and antioxidant properties when applied topically to the skin, although there is very little research to support these claims. Although vitamin B6 itself is not directly applied to the skin when used topically, a deficiency can lead to skin problems such as contact dermatitis, irritation and eczema.
