Description
Silica Dimethyl Silylate is a modified form of silicon dioxide (silica), the surface of which is treated with dimethylsilane. This ingredient is used for thickening, stabilizing texture, absorbing skin oils, and improving the sensory properties of the product. It is often included in gels, creams, decorative cosmetics, anti-shine products, and dry shampoos. Thanks to its ability to form structure in oils and silicones, Silica Dimethyl Silylate helps to control viscosity, making the product less runny and more durable. In decorative cosmetics, it provides a matte finish by absorbing excess sebum.
