Description
Sodium cocosulfate is obtained from coconut oil. It is an alternative to SLS. It provides excellent foam formation and viscosity building. Sodium cocosulfate is a surfactant, it leaves skin feeling soft and clean and adds shine to hair. All surfactants are partially soluble in water and partially soluble in oil, which allows them to disperse oil and water. When the minimum concentration of surfactant molecules is exceeded, they become organized into a structure that can trap dirt on an oily base, allowing them to be washed away.
