Description
Trilaureth-4 Phosphate is a surfactant and emulsifier that is added to cosmetics to stabilize "oil in water" emulsions, especially in waterproof makeup. It helps to mix the fatty and aqueous phases into a stable formula without separation. The component also improves the ability of the product to evenly distribute on the skin or hair, and can provide a gentle cleansing effect. It is most commonly used in sunscreens, long-wearing foundations, BB creams, liquid concealers, and facial cleansers.
